This was a very informative video. Thank you for sharing! I work in an investment firm and I am looking to expand my career and strengthen my knowledge to reach senior management level. I will make this happen, and I'm watching your channel as a support to my state of mind. Thank you for eloquently defining these key skills😊
Now I see why people say corporate finance is not what we typically associate finance with

This video is a solid resource. I've been focusing on risk management lately and it's nice to see it highlighted.
For anyone working on their resume, I've heard ResuBot can help with ATS-friendly formatting, which is pretty crucial.
I appreciate the clarity of your explanations. I wish I had this info before entering the industry.
Great breakdown of essential skills for finance, really helpful for someone just starting out.
All these skills you mentioned are best only for trading and asset management industry or for other financial industries as well like VC,PE,IB?
Also you edit your videos by yourself?
Is doing CFA or FRM useful for entering into hedge funds?
Thank you for your advices, amazing vid.
Hey aaron
Im an Indian student who wants to work in wall street. Is there any chance i could make it.
Amazing video Aaron!
This is information that you usually have to pay for in an online course. Props!
So i dont have a finance degree or anything relating to that, should i do the CFA and then masters in quant finance
Is CFA course good for trading and investing in stock market and hedge fund?
I am a physics major. Decent mathematical skills (to survive physics 😂). I only have intro and intermediate economics. But I have Mathematical Statistics and Biostatistics under the belt. I also did applied Calculus solo and focused on applications in Finance. I am in love and eloquent with python programming. How do i break in? I am a recent grad but cant find work.
One more question, If I do CFA with data analytics/science, would my chances of getting in the hedge fund, or asset management firm increase?
Is Hegde fund nd quant trading firm same?
If they're not do hedge funds have quant trading team?
