I hope the fact that Trump just paused tariffs goes some way toward proving the message of this video.

The stockmarket trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from bear market to a bull market when the news and mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people grossing profits up to $150k during this current market boom, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?

I'm here from the future and NOW was a good time to invest. I put £20k into an Isa beginning of April 2025 and it has made £1200 in three months (Vanguard 60/40)

I wonder what it'll look like when all the boomers start withdrawing and living on their savings as opposed to depositing income into their 401ks, after all, retirement savings are designed to be fully spent by death.

the thing is that trump feels more significant than covid. covid was a disease, i saw it as a buying opportunity. but trump is acting in the footsteps of a dictator, which is what scares me. when he can get away with breaking any law, what leaves me to think that the US is a safe place to leave my money? when he won the election i changed everything from the S&P500 to the STOXX 600 and had no regrets.

I’m a lazy investor I never worry about crashes. I just have index funds of various types and regions and shove money into them and forget it. Don’t even look that often. I’ve gone through so many crashes by ignoring. I’d only lose if I pull out.

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 42 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $37,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $450,000 net worth a . I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $150,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Martha

That was a good video. Will look at your course. Ive unfortunately had to close my position at a net loss recently. Not bevause I fear it disappearing. I am a long term always adding kind of guy. Unfortunately however I was low on cash so took some out at a loss. I am probably one of them statistics now. But it never is the whole picture.

Thanks, Damian, for this clear breakdown of market declines and volatility. Appreciate the insights on how often these happen and the historical data showing why staying invested consistently, as you illustrated with the Great Depression example, is so important for long-term returns. Really helpful perspective!

Hi Damien I'm based in the UK so I’m limited to UK based ETF as in I can’t invest in US ETF. I been researching leveraged ETF that I can invest in that are available in the UK the only one I have found is Xtrackers S&P 500 2x Leveraged Daily UCITS ETF (XS2D). This 2 times leverage but would like to invest in a 3 times leverage ETF similar to the TQQQ in the US are you aware of an alternative options?

Really informative video. You do a great job of explaining something that is very convoluted and making it digestible for someone who lacks the knowledge on how markets work.

I came to this video as I was debating with my self if I should invest right now. I'm weary of pulling the trigger right now as I think it's easy for the dip to continue but on the flip of that it could just as easily bounce back and I miss the opportunity to take advantage of the lows. Your video just reconfirmed the old additive of "time in the market is better than timing the market".

Thank you for hard work, mate.
