If it makes you feel any better I did try to negotiate a job in my 20s and they actually retracted the offer. So it’s not always a good thing!
I would say it’s good to always ask the range a job pays if you can get that info
This video makes me feel so good because I was 16-17 (I’m 22 this year) when I really started thinking about IRA’s, budgeting, and even how I won’t go to college if I have to take out an insane student loan. My family thought I was worrying too much since I haven’t even finished high school or had a full time job but honestly younger people NEED to start thinking and learning about money before they truly have it so that they don’t act totally reckless when they get it. If we were taught stuff like this in high school there would be a lot less 20 year olds in debt or without savings by the time they’re 30-40
