I can’t drive so I take dial a ride. Uber is too expedient and I live in a small town with not much transportation options.
For disabled one person is $1.25 each way. Adults without disabilities, it’s $2.25 each way. Anyone can take it. They now offer on demand service instead of scheduling ahead of time.

With my roommate living and getting ticket by job reduce those costs from 700 to 340, costs for living reducing from 250 to 150 with building up storage. I need 1 or 2 hrs to get to ocean. Music I always look which open air party's are nearby which are for free stay nearby and get music for almost free yeah not as good as direct from the stage but the reducing is almost more or less zero which concerts I have get for free and even big festivals are possible to get for free. Walking in Nature in Europe are thousands of kilometer of hiking and walking ways and the view is overwhelming. Spending for a car is such a waste of money and time that I really don't know why almost everyone need an own car but hey more money for me.

I'll be 35 years on the 2nd of August and honestly, the single life is IT for me. In my opinion, there's just something to be said about doing it all on your terms. I drive an old ford pickup that gets me to work and around town just fine and that's good enough for me. I finally gave up on the whole sham of throwing money at something I'll never own, and with the housing market the way it is now… pshhh yea right, with a mortgage that I might never see the end of. I have been living with my father in my childhood home again for the past 2 years, the house is paid, he and I can split the bills and go in together on the groceries just fine… plus, I don't have to worry about my father (70 yrs old this year, still thinks he's an Ox) being alone as I get to spend plenty of extra time with him now. I've saved just over $30k…

In short, save $417 a month and you have saved $5000 in a year.
$100 bucks a week. Pull it out when you get paid, after bills and survive on the rest. If you can, stack your savings in an account with interest or btc and it will increase as you're adding to it. Cashapp makes this easy.
If you can't save $200 per check you can't save $13 a day
The fact that you assume that everyone has $13.70 a day or any arbitrary number you decide people should just have because you think it is normal. Just shows your lever of entitlement.

13.70×7 = 95.9 per week 400 a month yes I rounded but the extra $16 a month is still enough.
The average US hourly wage is 28.16 X assuming 40hrs = $1,124 before tax or about $700 after tax or $2800 a month according to the internet mind you that's is average so atleast 1/2 are less then that. And also assuming nothing else coming out of you check like company health insurance.
The average rent in the US is $1600 that leaves $1200 let's say you assume very modest car 200$
Bills gas, electric trash sewer let's go cheep 200 for all insurance renters or house, car $100. Now we are down to 700$ let's go stupid cheep and say you only spend $100 month on gas back and forth to work ( good luck with that but im being generous) now 600$
10$ a day on food again stupid cheep $300 a month now we have
$ 300 left.
$300/30 is only $10 a day even with unrealistic projections.
That is not included phone, clothes internet, entertainment, car maintenance, medical expenses, emergency issues. Ect.
I haven't even brought kids into the equation daycare, child support school supplies.
For a lot of people 13.70 a day is the different between eating or not?
And you sitting there telling people you should be able to save this arbitrary amount of money, if you just tighten your belt a little more. Shows your sence of superiority, complete lack empathy is at it core just socio-economic shaming.
I have been on a no spend for about 5 years now. I just buy necessities and avoid buying household items I don’t need and clothing. You would be amazed at how much clothing you have to choose from already in your home if you stop spending and use up what you have. I also go through my closet and get rid of things I don’t wear every season. I am still struggling to save due to credit card debt but I am working to get them paid down and closed out.
I think…if I’m able to save 14$ every day ain’t no reason why I don’t have $1-5k on saving!!!!😅

Cook big batches on the weekend and freeze it. Easy to pull out and take during the week. Public transportation is another way to save especially with gas prices
