I hope the fact that Trump just paused tariffs goes some way toward proving the message of this video.
Here is the link to the course:

The stockmarket trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from bear market to a bull market when the news and mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people grossing profits up to $150k during this current market boom, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
I'm here from the future and NOW was a good time to invest. I put £20k into an Isa beginning of April 2025 and it has made £1200 in three months (Vanguard 60/40)
Update: yes it was
BUY THE DIP (if the trend is up)
I'm currently investing in stocks and this made me my first million with the help of a licensed broker I met at a seminar in Luxembourg who assists me handle my trades. My best decision ever.
I wonder what it'll look like when all the boomers start withdrawing and living on their savings as opposed to depositing income into their 401ks, after all, retirement savings are designed to be fully spent by death.
the thing is that trump feels more significant than covid. covid was a disease, i saw it as a buying opportunity. but trump is acting in the footsteps of a dictator, which is what scares me. when he can get away with breaking any law, what leaves me to think that the US is a safe place to leave my money? when he won the election i changed everything from the S&P500 to the STOXX 600 and had no regrets.
Another brilliant video fella
Hi, l'm interested in starting investing but don't know where to begin. Any advice or recommendations for someone who can help?
Loved this video 👍
I’m a lazy investor I never worry about crashes. I just have index funds of various types and regions and shove money into them and forget it. Don’t even look that often. I’ve gone through so many crashes by ignoring. I’d only lose if I pull out.
9:07 The benchmark here is a 60/40 portfolio, not 100% equity.
I don’t plan on selling I’m just gonna try invest and see what’s there in 10-15 years
Really educational!
Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 42 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $37,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $450,000 net worth a . I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $150,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Martha
That was a good video. Will look at your course. Ive unfortunately had to close my position at a net loss recently. Not bevause I fear it disappearing. I am a long term always adding kind of guy. Unfortunately however I was low on cash so took some out at a loss. I am probably one of them statistics now. But it never is the whole picture.
This isn't a crash. Why are you calling it a crash? It's just a simple thing. Things are overvalued. They working it out
I bought the dip! 40 year investor not 40 minutes. Getting in with a lump sum sitting in my account just earning 5%.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to the thin" 😂 Genius! Damien, in my opinion, your content is some of the best out there! Straight-forward, no nonsense approach and delivered brilliantly. You're doing an awesome job and deserve so much more credit! Roll on 500k subscribers 👍
I found this video particularly comforting… That as bad as it seems, it has been worse, and it will get better! #timeinthemarket
I just started investing last year, I bought my first ever stock last year, and now the market is crashing. Should I sell now, or keep holding in the case it goes back up??
big returns come from investing big. investing big comes from building conviction, conviction comes from understanding, understanding comes from doing your homework and research beyond surface level.
That’s is a NO at Present ❗️
Thanks, Damian, for this clear breakdown of market declines and volatility. Appreciate the insights on how often these happen and the historical data showing why staying invested consistently, as you illustrated with the Great Depression example, is so important for long-term returns. Really helpful perspective!
That ending though, absolutely killed it! This whole video is on point but If anyone needs to take anything on board throughout this whole thing, it's that last few seconds. Love it!
Buffett and Munger both advise against index funds. Rather they say buy a small number of great companies
Love the content! Keep them coming, one creator to another 🤝💪
Loved that last line " welcome to the thin" brillant!
Your educational content and presentation is top-notch
This is a very good video! Could listen to you for hours
Trump coin is up 32 percent fyi
As before you have to take a long term view with investing.
Don't expect a quick profit unless making day trades which are a pure gamble.
Is it worth considering a Developed World ex-US ETF? Any good ones available?
This has been so helpful.
Hi Damien, been watching your videos and have started investing. I was wondering with the auto investing is it best to set it to weekly or monthly or does it not matter ? I wasn’t sure if buying the shares every week would be better than once a month ?
Great video, I'm trying to explain this to all of my friends but they can't seem to understand it
I want to enrol in these masterclasses please!
Welcome to the thin – brilliant!
Nowhere on that chart was a president that decided to destroy the economy on purpose
Time to buy more!!
Awesome video, very well explained and backed up with data!😊
Great video. Just sticking to my plan. Investing an amount each month to a global index fund and maybe a bit extra when I am able too.
Hi Damien I'm based in the UK so I’m limited to UK based ETF as in I can’t invest in US ETF. I been researching leveraged ETF that I can invest in that are available in the UK the only one I have found is Xtrackers S&P 500 2x Leveraged Daily UCITS ETF (XS2D). This 2 times leverage but would like to invest in a 3 times leverage ETF similar to the TQQQ in the US are you aware of an alternative options?
I did my first £100 investment couple of days anyway so we will see 😂
Really informative video. You do a great job of explaining something that is very convoluted and making it digestible for someone who lacks the knowledge on how markets work.
I came to this video as I was debating with my self if I should invest right now. I'm weary of pulling the trigger right now as I think it's easy for the dip to continue but on the flip of that it could just as easily bounce back and I miss the opportunity to take advantage of the lows. Your video just reconfirmed the old additive of "time in the market is better than timing the market".
Thank you for hard work, mate.
