The programs in Fulton County are especially notable because many do not include traditional income limitations.
5. Harris County Provides Generous School Tax Exemptions for Seniors
Harris County offers several local homestead exemptions that can significantly reduce or eliminate school taxes for qualifying seniors. Additional local exemptions can further reduce taxable value depending on income and disability status.
