I live in a small town and antiques are really overlooked as sources of income. I mainly deal in herend fine china and its relatively easy to spec into their more expensive stuff if you play it right. I spend about $1800 altogether for 4 different pheasants in the same moulding but painted different, and sold they whole set for $2400. I took that $2400 and bought a herend mountain lion masterworks limited edition piece, that i then sold 4 months later for $3350. I also bought three meissen cherubs from the five senses collection for $360, and found the missing two on seperate ebay listings for $125 a piece, so $510 for a set i sold for $1050.
Poultry farmer here. Eggs arent as profitable as everyone thinks. I raise duck's and chickens in seperate pens. Selling the manure as garden fertilizer is more profitable than $2 a dozen eggs.
Antique stores are not great options. The younger generations are drowning in their parents and grandparents stuff, the bottom has fallen out of most antique prices, and younger people don't want to own lots of stuff. They want the freedom of movement that comes from not being tied down by their possessions.
lol shit advice
I have not tried it as a business but chickens and vegetables can support each other. Chicken manure is an excellent fertilizer. The "waste" from the garden will feed the chickens for cheap.
the popping sound was annoyingly loud…………. good video
