Robinhood is stealing money from my father-in-law. He is 85 years old. They refuse to release the funds because he cannot proof where the money came from. The proof was given, but they still refuse to release $25k. They deactivated the account.
Their email reply is
"After careful review, we were unable to confirm sufficient evidence to verify the source of the remaining funds in your Robinhood account.
As a result, the funds will stay in your account for now and may be subject to the escheatment process in accordance with the applicable laws of your state or territory. We understand this may be disappointing and encourage you to follow up if you have any additional documentation we can review."
Stay away from Robinhood.

More like robbing you in their hood! Don't be shocked when they freeze your accounts and make you feel like a criminal and interrogate you for them to decide when they feel like giving your money back bc you moved YOUR MONEY and YOUR crypto (when whales decide to do a huge dump). That SEND button and Withdrawl button is mainly for the rich whales to use.

I’ve learned it’s easier to track if you don’t do reoccurring investments. When you want to buy a stock the easiest way I’ve found is to deposit first into your buying power and then buy your shares if your preferred stock
