I am Evergreen subscriber. It rebalances on monthly basis. Is one month not a long period for rebalances, as stock can go down considerably in one month. So is it not better to rebalance , if situation warrants , to rebalance anytime during a month in addition to monthly rebalances ?
As per my personal momentum strategy, it has asked me to go 40% in cash. Not sure why.. The market doesn't look weak but I am following my system without using my brain. Let's see…
This makes the case for index funds, they will never be the best performing or the worst one, but over the long term, only a handful of funds have beaten the NIFTY500 index funds. It's almost impossible to choose one that will outperform from the 100s of funds today.
The knowledge i have and what i learnt about middle east…..usa and Isreal are two threat to emerging economies.. they can challenge the western world dominance…..the lies told by western medias about nuclear weapons chemical weapons mass destruction weapons etc all are big lies with no accountability 😠😠
Very good study. Kudos. Would be interesting to know from you, how can we avoid this churn/ underperformance. Also the performance of your small cases on the same basis of 3/5 years performance.
Having sectorial tailwind is of course desirable, but their rotation is not in your control. That's why a portfolio with diverse sectors is crucial. And of course, no point sitting till your stocks bleed. Its best to have an exit strategy and preserve your capital to avoid the opportunity cost.
Small and mid caps show significant sell offs. Almost back to where it was a week ago. Etiher BNF goes down of Nifty IT goes down. One of them keep dragging the index
