Thailand lost the crown to who. ?
Wow… this week, another bad news for Thailand. Cambodia enters BBC’s top 20 travel destinations for 2026 as Thailand drops off list. Thailand’s tourism is slowly falling. Despite war, Cambodia see a very sharp rise in tourism arrivals. Cambodia also see influx of Indian tourists after Thailand destroyed Cambodian Hindu statue Vishnu by the border. Siem Reap is packed with tourists. https://youtu.be/MNyBQ2cFeT8?si=A1c7zhY6NNz9HLWv
Philippines is Amazing. They understand and speak in English. Cheap food, services and more. Friendly and kind people. There’s so many beautiful and exciting places to visit. Places to visit: Manila, BGC, Baguio, Boracay, Siargao, Palawan, Cebu.
Thailand is trying very hard to hurt Cambodian economy by closing the borders. Instead, it hurts itself and the Cambodian economy is booming and Cambodia is very peaceful. https://youtu.be/87vAdgSjwuo?si=y8M15urRin1I-cCH
The Thai government initiated the closure of Cambodian/thai borders thinking it would hurt Cambodian economy which in turn Cambodia would lose the war. Instead it hurts itself. At the Cambodian newly opened airport is getting busier than before. A lot of tourists are coming to Cambodia, mostly from Europe. https://youtu.be/9rfkS4jVZqk?si=b6mZj8w0jinZaM8U
Reports: Thailand’s economy is the worse performing of all south east Asia, except Myanmar.
Singapore is now overtakes Thailand as the 2nd largest economy in south east Asia as Thailand’s economy is shrinking despite its small population of 6 millions. They expect Thailand will fall to the 5th place as Vietnam and the Philippines economies grow and could be the 6th after Malaysia. They expect Thailand will lose $10 billions if the borders with Cambodia continue to remain closed which Thailand initiated and proudly said Cambodian people would starve without Thailand. That borders closure actually benefits Cambodian economy. Cambodians are buying Cambodian made products and boycotting Thai products.
Worst…reports: Bangkok is becoming the world’s #1 worst city for scams and pickpocketing. Pattaya is # 8 and Phuket #9. Thai 3 cities are on the top ten list. https://youtu.be/UfFR5LsQKNw?si=zFnOjo1cGBYbW7LZ
It’s getting worse. No tourists and businesses are closing https://youtu.be/osWq3zT561I?si=7eyQQYV0cm4-wQrw
thailand is always there for those choosable destinations that bring it best out simple tropical climate to offer like white sand beach, herbal flavour of spicy foods and religious sacred place. compare to expense, it is rather rising up unexpectedly to hold a standard quality for decades under new technology development. security facilities and transporting infrastructures are developing as mostly found and appeared on several social media advised. it costs you only taking a look deep inside and find out yourselves. truly hope this country is worth to an eye opening experience at some point from sincerely social reviews or bold decision of self interest to visit. this connectivity can profit friendship bonds and relavent cultural exchanges as to the real meaning of the tourism is. as well the country is trying hard to keep good pride of satisfaction quality than masssive trash of over quantity. look forward those who are promt to listen and hear this voice able to understand. cheers 🇹🇭

People of the world Hahaha….!…!
Don't Thai to Me.
The King of Thailand, Siam today Chulalongkorn, in 2025, ordered one of his best servants to carry on more than hundred trucks of human shits with the Thai flag on it, to tell the people of the world that the King and the Thai people today are as cheap as shits!……. Don't Thai to Me……!!!!
Don't Thai to Me.
Its not all that. Thai is very singular. Beaches and thats it. Phuket was pristine in the early 2010s. Many beaches are unkept now. Malaysian speaks english and is not crime ridden.
Because Thai king want timple Cambodia
loses crown to who ??
Don' t Thai to me.
Thailand is not safe, and most realize after kidnapping case.😂😂
singapore channel like to run negative news about their ASEAN neighbors. why not talk about the negative happenings in your own country. for that matter, why not you run a story on which ASEAN country has taken over the crown of most visited country. i bet you it's Malaysia, that is why they don't want to do a feature. if it is Singapore, they will be crowing about it from dawn to dusk.
Dont go… Vietnam is cheaper… also waring border and conlficts causing issues
Now they recriminalize weed. Gameover.
Malaysia tend to attract more for tourists looking for food, culture and some peace and tranquility, Bangkok is an awesome city and has lots to offer but I find more tourists with xtra bucks to splurge tend to to pick KL, especially those with children and coples as KL is also more family friendly and much easier communications. Lately also I find quite a number of unsavory incidents in tourist spots with drunk vistors and overly saturated with ‘social’ workers. Thailand holds the crown as a party capital in SEA and that goes with caveats. Good business but attracting more budget travelers id assume.
Allow more Indian tourists and u will be fine👍
Thailand is the new Philippines now.
Artificially strong Baht is THE problem.
Stricter visa regulations, widening inequality between the wealthy and the local population, political instability, and an ongoing Islamic insurgency in the south are all contributing to Thailand’s decline. Scams are also widespread, further damaging its reputation. The recent earthquake was just the cherry on top.
For a country in Asia that was never colonized, you’d expect Thailand to have had a head start in industrialization—but that hasn’t been the case. Outside of Europe, only Japan seems to have successfully achieved the status of an advanced, never-colonized society. Meanwhile, Vietnam—despite being colonized by the French—has made more impressive strides than Thailand.
Even Cambodia, which wasn’t formally colonized but did become a French protectorate by choice, endured genocide and massive setbacks from a later communist regime. Yet, despite its dark history, Thailand arguably still holds greater untapped potential—but it’s being squandered.
