It’s funny how this “tuna’s” story mirrors our modern society. We chase education, marriage, success, property the whole checklist of a “good life.” But in the end, we’re all just swimming in a bigger ocean ruled by markets, systems, and appetites that see us as products, not people. The tuna did everything “right,” yet still ended up on someone’s plate. Maybe that’s the point that comfort and success don’t mean freedom. Sometimes, we mistake a well-decorated fish tank for the ocean.

In this video, they All are talking about Blue Fin Tuna from Japan, they are all very Wrong, the Japanese people come to Hawaii, every year to Buy up the Tuna market in Honolulu Hawaii every Year, because in Hawaii, they Fleet's going out to Hunt for Tuna fish, And there a lot of different varieties of Tuna in the Pacific Rim area, Tuna fish don't like Cold Weather, they prefer the warmer weather conditions, which the Pacific Ocean has to offer, and I've gone down to the Auction Houses, when the Fleet comes back to Honolulu docks, and I know that the Japanese people can afford to pay those outrageous Prices, with there Japanese Yen. Besides there's No Beef in Japan, so they Splurge on Beef Steaks, Pork Anything and Chicken anything, they ship them back to Japan, via overnight Express, DHL, FedEx or USPS, they are Flash Frozen, never on ships, but I look for Yellowfin Tuna, and I know what to look for, like a Rainbow in the Belly or Toro Section, but Tuna Fishing in Hawaii is a Huge business,Dole and Del Monte are gone, like C and H Sugar, it's called Land Values. And I have a couple of canned tuna,in my cupboards, like canned Sardines Kippers and Mackerel and canned Salmon, great as a snack with crackers and Cheese,or on a Quick bite,I ate Them growing up in Honolulu Hawaii, like Fresh Mangoes, Lychee Dragon Eye Papaya's, Guava Juice, Macadamia Nuts,Kona Coffee,All the Tropical Stuff, when I get a Craving for Fresh Tuna,I head to Chinatown in lower Manhattan, they have the biggest selection of Fresh Seafood, like going to the Bronx at Hunts Point Mega Market's, because I used to work there at 4 AM.

6:15: “If you eat Pacific Bluefin Tuna not specifically from Japan, then that's really irresponsible.”
Wait… so if I eat a Pacific Bluefin from California, I’m irresponsible now? Even if it swam all the way from Japan? 😂 Why though?

Is the reason why you should only get pacific salmon from Japan because their population is more stable there?

Getting tuna from places other than Japan is NOT irresponsible.
Just because the rest of the world has ruined their fish stocks.
I am lucky enough to be able to fish for southern bluefin tuna with a fishing rod where i live in southern Australia. First class, wild caught fish up to and over 200lbs. Best in the world. Hands down. No middle man, no auction. Absolutely delicious.

Wanna know who's irresponsible? Moroccan and Spanish fishermen they don't care about the size of the fish or what species they catch while fishing for Tuna.. Moroccans especially, they catch a shark instead of Tuna and they don't release it, they take it to market hundreds of sharks mostly and end up in Asian countries to make skin care products lol
